Editorial Policy

Since 2005, Archeologia e Calcolatori has supported the Open Access Initiative. An electronic version (e-ISSN 2385-1953) of the journal is published under the Creative Commons License CC BY-NC-ND 4.0, simultaneously with the hard-copy publication (ISSN 1120-6861).
Articles are also stored in the CNR SOLAR (Scientific Open-access Literature Archive and Repository) database of scientific publications. All parties involved in the publishing process should agree upon the Publication Ethics Statement.

Open Access Policy

In accordance with the Berlin Declaration on Open Access and the terms of the Creative Commons License, users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles for any non-commercial purpose, as long as the original authors and the source are cited.

Copyright, Article Processing and Submission Charges

Authors retain the copyright of their scholarly work, granting usage rights according to the Creative Commons License CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 international; publishing and distribution rights of the printed version are granted to the publisher (Edizioni All'Insegna del Giglio s.a.s.).

Archeologia e Calcolatori has no article processing and submission charges. The published articles can be downloaded freely.

Guidelines for Authors

Paper Submission

Articles should be submitted before December 31st using the online submission system, which allows Authors to submit papers via web, following the journal’s Editorial Rules.

Archeologia e Calcolatori only publishes original work that has not been previously published or accepted by another journal and is not under review elsewhere.

Peer Review Process

Contributions to Archeologia e Calcolatori are assessed and approved by Editor-in-Chief, the Coordinator of the Scientific Committee and its specialist members, as well as by the members of Conference Scientific/Organising Committees and by expert readers, according to a double-blind peer review process.
