EDITORIALS
Since 1990, the Editorials have focused on some of the most significant moments in the life and evolution of Archeologia e Calcolatori.
The collection of the Editorials as a set presented in chronological order makes it possible to assess these moments, starting with the
reasons for the birth of the journal highlighted by the words of two great archaeologists: Mauro Cristofani and Riccardo Francovich.
In particular, the Editorials promoted new initiatives, such as the first publication of the proceedings of an international conference,
the organization in Rome of the "3rd International Symposium on Computing and Archaeology", and the publication of the Archaeological
Computing Newsletter, as a semi-annual supplement to the journal, until a new series of Supplements, which represents an important addition
to the regular annual publication, began to be issued in 2007.
